There is no question about the pivotal role of a teacher in student learning and contribution to society. They work hard for countless hours but are not appreciated enough. I will be committed and make sure to:

Support our teachers by not cutting jobs that directly affect the classrooms.

Maintain appropriate teacher/student ratio.

Provide teaching supplies and resources needed to teach effectively.

Enforce zero tolerance for disrespect towards teachers.

Develop a system where teachers have more input into the day-to-day decision-making process.
